Case Battles — Open CS2 Cases PvP
Battle other players opening the same CS2 cases. The highest total wins the whole pot. Create or join a case battle on Insane.gg.
Case Battles — CS2 (CS:GO) Case Opening PvP
Case Battles is the player-versus-player way to open CS2 (CS:GO) cases on Insane.gg. Two, three or four players (or two teams) open the exact same sequence of cases at the same time, round for round. When the last case is opened, the highest total value wins every skin on the table.
It turns solo case opening into a head-to-head competition: the same cases, the same odds, revealed side by side — the only difference is who the reels are kind to.
How Case Battles work
Create a battle by choosing your cases (each case becomes a round), a format (1v1, 1v1v1, 1v1v1v1 or 2v2) and a mode. Other players join the open slots, or you fill them with bots. Every player pays the same entry — the sum of the selected case prices — and opens the identical cases in sync.
After the final round the totals are compared. In Standard mode the highest combined value wins the pot of all opened skins; in Crazy mode the lowest total wins instead, so the worst luck is rewarded.
Standard vs Crazy mode
Standard is the classic format — open the same cases and the biggest total takes everything. Crazy (underdog) flips it: the smallest total wins, which keeps every player in the game even after a weak pull.
Formats and teams
- 1v1 — a direct duel between two players
- 1v1v1 and 1v1v1v1 — free-for-all with three or four players
- 2v2 — two teams, combined team totals decide the winner
- Fill any empty slot with a bot to start instantly
Are Case Battles provably fair?
Every player in a battle opens the same cases with the same published odds, and each drop is drawn provably fair — a hashed server seed committed up front, combined with the client seed and revealed afterwards — so the outcome cannot be manipulated in any player’s favour.
Frequently asked questions
What is a CS2 (CS:GO) case battle?
A case battle is a PvP case opening where several players open the same cases at once, round by round. The player with the highest total value (or lowest, in Crazy mode) wins all the opened skins.
How many players can join a battle?
Battles support 1v1, 1v1v1 and 1v1v1v1 free-for-alls, plus 2v2 team mode. Empty slots can be filled with bots so you can start whenever you want.
What is Crazy mode?
In Crazy (underdog) mode the lowest total wins the pot instead of the highest, so unlucky openings are rewarded.
Who wins the items in a case battle?
The winning player or team receives every skin opened by everyone in the battle. In 2v2 the winning team splits the pot.
